Party Time with Friends, Part 2

As I said last week, I met some guy when I went clubbing with my friends. Or actually, he met me :P. I was waiting at the bar to order a drink when he looked at me and started a casual conversation. I (politely as I am :P) talked to him as well, but I left as soon as I had my drink. He simply was not my type, even though he seemed a really nice guy.

He turned out to be one of my friend’s friends and therefore I saw him quite often that night. We talked to each other, but not excessively and no more than I talked to my friends. I was just having fun and when he wanted to dance with me, I agreed. Nothing to be suspicious about, for he danced with one of my friends as well.

Therefore, I had not seen his ‘confession’ coming‚Ķ When all lights were turned on and the music turned down, he said he really liked me. That feeling was not mutually, so I thanked him and was honest when he asked me what I thought of him‚Ķ:S On the one hand, I felt bad for turning him down (especially when I found out later that he usually never did this); yet, on the other hand, I knew I could not help it and at least I had been honest and kind. There is no ‚Äògood‚Äô way in turning someone down, right?

To be continued…
