Just weeks after Selena tweeted that she was so excited to be a big sister, she canceled her concerts and headed home to be with her family..
Selena Gomez‘s family has been hit with devastating news — her mother Mandy has miscarried.
Selena, 19, was so devastated by the news that she cancelled her Dec. 17 concert in Chicago and Dec. 18 date in Seattle, E! News reports.
35-year-old Mandy — who was expecting her first child with Selena’s stepfather Brian Teefy – miscarried on Dec. 16 and Selena was immediately notified. She had been at Power 106′s Cali Christmas 2011 in Los Angeles — the show where her boyfriend Justin Bieber performed with Drake— when she quickly left to head home.
Our hearts go out to Selena’s family during this tough time.
