Justin Bieber Makes Musical History!
POSTED BY ADMIN ON 3RD AUGUST 2013 IN CELEBRITIES
It’s not unusual to hear that Justin Bieber‘s made music history. He has, after all, broken more than a few records in his short time in the industry. (i.e. Most Views on VEVO in 24 Hours for “Beauty and a Beat.” It was eventually nabbed by Miley Cyrus for “We Can’t Stop,” then One Direction for “Best Song Ever,” but still.) However, this is a title we’re sure he’ll keep for a long time…
During his recent concert in New Jersey, the 19-year-old singer was presented with an award from the Recording Industry Association of America’s Gold & Platinum Program in recognition of one of his earliest singles, “Baby” for hitting 12 million in sales, making the 2010 tune the #1 most-certified song ever in U.S. music history.
Know what that means? Diamond status! Fans caught the beautiful moment on camera as JB’s manager, Scooter Braun, handed over the prestigious award. Scooter said to the screaming crowd, “…And through all the good times and the hard times, he has stayed positive and worked hard for all of you.”
Justin graciously accepted, saying: “First and foremost, I want to thank all my Beliebers in the audience tonight. And all my Beliebers at home, and my mom for always believing in me.”
So congratulations are in order for the “As Long As You Love Me” crooner, don’tchya think? Are you happy for Justin! And did you buy his single “Baby”? Share your thoughts in the comments!
